Meet our Principal
Mrs. Glackin has had the privilege of serving the Pinellas Academy of Math and Science Community for over ten years. Beginning as a classroom teacher, Response to Intervention Coordinator, and chairperson of multiple leadership committees, Mrs. Glackin was recognized by the school leadership team for her dedication, excellence as an instructional leader, and commitment to supporting and developing students’ learning across all domains. As Assistant Principal, she cultivated a trusting, supportive school community known as the “PAMS Family.” Her educational philosophy emphasizes excellence, family engagement, a passion for S.T.E.A.M. Education, and the belief that every student can learn and reach their full potential. As an educational leader, Mrs. Glackin is committed to life-long learning and regularly attends trainings and national conferences to further her pedagogy. Mrs. Glackin is excited to continue supporting and leading the Pinellas Academy of Math and Science for years to come.

The mission of Pinellas Academy of Math and Science is to provide students with a well-rounded elementary and middle-school education, through a challenging program, focused on mathematics and science using innovative, reform-based instructional methods in a stimulating and nurturing environment that fosters maximum student achievement.

Pinellas Academy of Math and Science is a Cognia accredited educational institution. Accreditation through Cognia indicates that Pinellas Academy of Math and Science has met rigorous, research- based standards of educational excellence to ensure the education program offered at Pinellas Academy Academy of Math and Science meets the needs of learners through proficiency in Leadership Capacity, Learning Capacity, and Resource Capacity. Using these standards, Pinellas Academy Academy of Math and Science targets areas in each domain for continuous improvement in creating student success.
